(usually uncountable; plural biopathies)- (parapsychology, science fiction) The capability to communicate directly by psychic means; the sympathetic affection of one mind, at a distance, without communication through the ordinary channels of sensation, to manipulate the physiology (e.g. heart rate, breathing, nervous system or brainwaves) and voluntary motor functions of other people or living organisms, but without reading their minds.
